Q. How do I become a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church?
Classes are held three times a year (fall, winter, and spring). These are opportunities to discover more about Christian and Lutheran foundations, meet other leaders in the church and build new relationships with others. For more information or to sign up, please call the church office.

Q. Are there baptism classes available?
A class in preparation for baptisms takes place with the pastor a few weeks before the baptism. Contact the church office to fill out a baptism information sheet and you will be contacted about the class.

Q. What is involved in your Confirmation program?
Confirmation at Our Redeemer is a three-year program that incorporates teaching sessions (focused on Old Testament, New Testament, Christian Living, Discipleship, Faith Foundations), small group times, service events, and worship notes. This is a great time to build relationships with other youth and caring adults, while coming to a greater faith life with Jesus Christ.

Q. I would like to have our wedding at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. How do I get started?
Please contact the church at least six months prior to your wedding so that space can be reserved on the calendar. Then, the pastor will contact you to set up pre-marriage visits and talk about the wedding service.

Q. How do I plan a funeral at Our Redeemer?
Please make contact with the church office when a death of a loved one occurs, or when death is pending, so that we can make plans for a service and provide you with support. All members are encouraged to fill out our funeral pre-planning form and leave it at the church office.

Q. Does your church offer space to community groups?
Yes, there are meeting rooms for groups from 2-200 and we have the capacity to seat 125 people in our largest meeting room and provide full video/sound resources. Our sanctuary seats 300. We are open to special events or hosting groups for longer-term commitments as well.

Q. Are you affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America?
Yes. Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. To learn more about the ELCA, visit www.elca.org

Call the office Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and ask for Pastor Karsten. He will be happy to meet with you or visit on the phone.
